Myspace, and cover of Rivolta Silenziosa

Well, it is not very pretty yet, but it does host our music! So the cover of HUMANWINE's Rivolta Silenziosa, from their album Fighting Naked, is posted there. HUMANWINE's website can be found here. Listen to them, they are really good!

Hopefully, our MySpace will be all prettied up soon. Monique's sister is working on a logo for us (a dripping/melting fingerprint), so that'll definitely get us closer to a layout and all.

Also, a plan for a cover of Kai Altair's Mamma Ocean is in the works. It'll be a new arrangement, with lovely swirly viola parts. Her website can be found here, and her forum here. Check her out too, she and her music alike are lovely, and she herself is a very sweet person.

Much love,
Scar.

Gloomy Sunday!

Tada! Gloomy Sunday music, recorded and mixed by our amazing producer/recorder man, Deven. Viola by Scarlett (me), and vocals by Monique. Originally composed by Rezso Seress. Enjoy, and please let us know what you think!

As you see, we also have a ReverbNation account, which I've linked to in the title of this post. If we can get permission from the other artists we've covered, we'll post other covers there, if not, we'll be posting originals soon!

Much love,
Scar.

No America's Got Talent, but many recordings!

For personal reasons, the America's Got Talent video is off. HOWEVER, we did record lots of lovelies yesterday! All covers, as none of our originals are completely ready yet. We recorded:

**Gloomy Sunday, for viola and voice. Inspired by Emilie Autumn's version, but turned out very different.

**Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down), also for viola and voice. A mashup of both Cher and Humanwine's arrangements, so it also turned out very different.

**Rivolta Silenziosa, for two voices. A duet between Monique and I, with only hand claps to accompany. Originally written and performed by Humanwine.

**Raspberry Swirl, for voice, albeit several tracks of voice. We'll probably end up making the accompaniment for this entirely electronic.

Deven, our recording producer, is mixing these tracks now, and we shall have them probably by this weekend!

Much love,
Scar.

Cover Upon Cover...

We are covering!

Our plans...

*Raspberry Swirl, by Tori Amos

*Gloomy Sunday, originally by Rezső Seress, covered by Emilie Autumn and numerous others

*Walking in Memphis, originally by Marc Cohn, covered by Cher

*Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down), originally by Cher, covered by Humanwine

And possibly others, including Rivolta Silenziosa by Humanwine and Liar by Emilie Autumn. We are wanting to try out for Youtube's America's Got Talent (http://www.youtube.com/americasgottalent) , hence the Cher. After all, the AGT site says, "If you are performing to or using music, we have found the audience and judges responds best to popular well-known songs as opposed to obscure or original music." Meaning, get your indie shit out of here. But, alas, exposure is exposure, and Walking in Memphis is a classic.

We're also scheduled to record next Saturday! So much audio love for you, and video love as well. Wish us luck!

New Name, New Members, New Look.

Hello, everyone! As you can see, there have been some major changes. Due to some difficulties finding members, Teavolution- now called No Fingerprints- is a duo.

Our violist, and the one writing to you today, is Scar. You knew me as the resident Hatter, which I most definitely still am. With Gypsy tunes and influences of everything from Hungarian to Baroque, I'm the instrumental half of our duet.

I, on the other hand, am our vocalist, the lovely Monique, formerly known as the Darling Undiagnosed. I will, also, be accompanying Scar with a viola, as well as, the piano.

Our lyrics and covers will enchant you to death, but, don't worry, we won't leave any filthy little fingerprints.
